Damascus, SANA- The National Earthquake Center announced that the monitoring stations recorded 7 light aftershocks ranging less than 2.9 magnitude on the Richter Scale in the past 24 hours.
The center stated in a statement to SANA reporter on Friday that the tremors were recorded from Thursday until 8:00 a.m. of Friday, a quake northwest of Lattakia at 48 k.m with 1.9 magnitudes, and another in the southwest of Lattakia with 2.6 magnitudes, as well as three tremors in Liwa Iskenderun.
A tremor was recorded in the Mediterranean Sea, southwest of Turkey, of 2.8 magnitudes, and a quake in central Turkey of 2.8 magnitudes, the center added.
