Provinces, SANA – Units of the army and armed forces crushed Tuesday a number of terrorist organizations’ dens and hideouts, including for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria “ISIS”, killing more of them.

Damascus Countryside

Army units targeted a hideout for terrorists during a meeting comprising a number of terrorist leaders in al-Qalamoun, killing 7  of them in Wadi al-Khanazir and destroying 3 vehicles in Qara.

The army also continued operations in al-Zabadani and eastern al-Ghouta, killing scores of terrorists, many of them of non-Syrian nationalities, destroying their vehicles, weaponry and ammunition.

Army units targeted terrorists’ hideouts and concentrations in Erbin and Hammouriya, killing and injuring a number of terrorists and destroying their weapons.

Daraa

A military source told SANA that units of the army and armed forces destroyed terrorists’ dens, killing many of them and injuring others in al- Sheikh Miskin, Atman and southwestern side of Dael in Daraa countryside.

Earlier, Many terrorists were killed, others were injured and their vehicles were destroyed during army operations that targeted their gatherings in Tafas city to the north of Daraa city, a military source said.

SANA reporter quoted the source as saying that an army unit carried out intensive operations during which it razed gatherings of terrorists in al-kark al-Sharqi, killing many of them, injuring others and destroying their ammo and weapons.

Another army unit carried out a series of “accurate” operations against terrorist organizations’ positions to the north of Nasib border crossing, leaving many of their members killed and their vehicles destroyed.

The source told SANA that the terrorists Mahmoud Dayes, Faisal Ahmad Allo, Mohammad al-Zoubani, Moawia al-Bardan, Khaled al-Jiss and Iyad Salah Abu Neqta were identified among the dead.

Terrorist organizations acknowledged on social media pages the death of the terrorists Yaman Mahmoud al-Farwan, Mohammad Wael al-Azzam and Khaled Issa Awad in Jordanian hospitals due to wounds sustained during the army operations.

Army unit targeted terrorists’ gathering in Tal al-Hara, destroying 3 vehicles and killing all terrorists onboard in al-Lajat in Daraa countryside.

Army units destroyed terrorists’ hideouts, killing a number of terrorists and destroying many of their vehicles in the areas of Sheikh Miskin, Kifr nasej, Daraa al-Balad and al-Nou’ayma.

Homs

The army is advancing further into the eastern countryside of Homs, establishing full control over the gas well /101/ in the countryside of Palmyra.

A military source told SANA that the gas well came into the army’s hands after an army unit killed many terrorists of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) who had the well under their control.

With this achievement, the army is moving closer to retaking all wells in the area from ISIS terrorists who have been stealing oil out of pipelines and selling it outside the country, an act incriminated by a recently-issued Security Council resolution no. 2199.

Besides prohibiting oil purchase from terrorist organizations, the resolution also bans acts of paying ransom to the terrorists and buying stolen archeological items from them.

Yesterday, the army killed many ISIS terrorists after targeting and destroying their gatherings in the areas surrounding Jazal oil wells in northwestern Palmyra.

Further into the eastern countryside of the central Homs province, army units razed hideouts of ISIS terrorists in Rahoum village, located near the border with the northeastern Raqqa province.

The source stressed that the terrorists in the village suffered severe losses in personnel and equipment.

Other army units killed numbers of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in the villages of Um Sahrij, Toloul al-Hawa and Unq al-Hawa.

In the northern countryside, the army units continued intensive operations against terrorists affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations, targeting their positions in Tallet al-Rastan and the area near al-Rastan Hospital.

In the city of Homs, an army unit killed a number of terrorists who were stationed in three separate areas in al-Waer neighborhood.

Quneitra

Army units destroyed a number of terrorists’ vehicles in Nab’ al-Sakher in Quneitra countryside, according to a military source.
