National Earthquake Center: eight weak tremors recorded in past 24 hours

Damascus, SANA- The National Earthquake Center has announced recording eight weak tremors over the 24 past hours.

The stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Networks have recorded a quake 49 km northwest of Lattakia, five quakes in Liwa Iskenderun and two quakes in Turkey, the national center said in a statement.

The quakes magnitude ranged between 1.5 and 3 degrees on the Richter Scale, and they have occurred at different depths reaching up to 22 km.
