Damascus, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad exchanged on a phone call with Tunisia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Nabil Ammar greetings on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, along with views on boosting the bilateral ties in all areas.
Minister Ammar conveyed the Tunisian leadership’s decision to strengthen the representation of the Embassy of Tunisia in Damascus and appointing an ambassador there.
Minister Mikdad, for his part, expressed Syria’s appreciation to the decision of his Excellency President Kais Saied on raising levels of diplomatic representation which reflects the mutual affection between the two countries.
Foreign and Expatriates Minister stated that Syria will re-open its embassy in Tunisia in the coming days so as to be at the level of ambassadors.
