Syria condemns aggressive Israeli practices against citizens of the occupied Golan

Damascus,SANA- Syria condemned the continuous Israeli aggressive practices against the citizens in the occupied Syrian Golan, and affirmed that the occupied Golan is an integral part of its territory.

Syria is proud of the honorable stances of its Golan citizens who rejected Israeli settlement and colonial policies aimed at stealing land and building wind turbines, in a move to impose Israeli entity and displace the Golan by stealing their land, the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates said in a statement.

The turbine project aims to seize more than 600 hectares of agricultural lands , the ministry said.

These practices violate the international law, international legitimacy and the relevant UN resolutions, especially Security Council Resolution No. 497 of 1981, the Ministry stressed.

The ministry added that Syria reaffirms that the occupied Golan is an integral part of its territory, and works to restore every grain of its land by all available means.
