Eight aid relief trucks for quake-affected cross Nassib border crossing

Daraa, SANA- Eight trucks loaded with relief materials entered via Nassib border crossing with Jordan for the earthquake-affected people.

Director of the Crossing Eng. Shadi Abazaid told SANA in a statement that Seven trucks offered by the Jordanian Government carrying various materials of cloths, blankets and medical materials entered via Nassib crossing and received by the Syrian Red Crescent in Daraa.

The convoy is for the benefit of international organizations, operating in Syria and was transferred to Damascus, Eng. Abazaid added.

He pointed out that the Syrian community and Arab and Foreign communities and Omani people in Oman Sultanate presented a truck of 25 tons of cloths, blankets and other materials for the earthquake-affected people and was received by the Syrian Trust for Development.

Since the beginning of the current week, the land convoys sent by the Jordanian government arrive daily to provide relief to those affected by the earthquake to Nassib border crossing.
