People of Sweida send a new batch of aid to earthquake victims in Aleppo

Sweida, SANA- Religious and social bodies from Sweida province sent on Monday a new batch of aid to the earthquake-affected people in Aleppo province as part of a campaign titled (From Sweida to the Family).

“The provided aid exceeded SYP2 00 million,” one of the initiative’s coordinators, the executive director of the center of Maqam Ain al-Zaman for Social Development, Basil Nasr, said in a statement to SANA reporter.

Nasr added that the aid includes two cars and a bus loaded with foodstuffs and relief supplies.

He noted that the aid was collected in cooperation with a number of voluntary, civil and social initiatives and teams and the Syrian expatriates.
