Damascus, SANA- An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale hit Liwa Iskenderun area Sunday morning.

‘The quake occurred at 5.26 a.m. Sunday morning in Liwa Iskenderun area, at a depth of 54 km west of Idleb province’, National earthquake Center said in a statement to SANA.

Director of the center, Dr. Raed Ahmed, said that quakes ranged from weak to moderate, adding that the sea level is within normal limit.
