Amman, SANA- The Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament, Ahmed Al-Safadi, voiced his country’s solidarity with Syria after the quake that jolted it, affirming that Amman is ready to mobilize all possible efforts to help the Syrian people in their ordeal.
Following his visit heading a Jordanian delegation to the Syrian Embassy in Amman to offer condolences, Al-Safadi voiced Jordan’s sincere grief after the quake catastrophe occurred in Syria.
The Speaker Al-Safadi and his delegation asserted the deep-rooted ties binding Syrian and Jordan, affirming their readiness to mobilize every possible effort to stand by the Syrians in their distress.
Chargé d’ Affaires at Syrian Embassy in Amman, Issam Niyal, for his part, referred to the catastrophic repercussions of the earthquake, especially in light of the negative effects of the unilateral Western coercive measures imposed on the country, which prevent the provision of equipment for removing rubble and securing medicines and other medical equipment necessary to treat the injured.
