Armenian Prime Minister in telephone call with President al-Assad: We are ready to offer assistance to Syria

Damascus, SANA-President Bashar al-Assad on Tuesday received a telephone call from Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan who expressed his country’s sorrow over the devastating earthquake that his Syria and the huge losses it has left.

Pashinyan conveyed to the President the Armenian government and people’s condolence and their solidarity with the Syrian people, showing readiness to offer help and support for the Syrian government’s efforts in the relief and rescue operations.

President al-Assad, in turn, thanked Mr. Pashinyan for the support of Armenia to the Syrian people that reflect the deep and strong relations which bind the Syrian and Armenian peoples.
