Prime Minister inspects rescue operations and removal of rubble in the city of Jableh

Lattakia, SANA- To follow up on the implementation of the response plan aimed at dealing with the consequences of the earthquake and organizing of relief operations, Prime Minister, Hussein Arnous, accompanied by the Minister of Health, Dr. Hassan al-Ghobash and the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Muhammad Saif al-Din, inspected the damaged sites in the city of Jableh, and were briefed on the operations of removing rubble and rescuing the injured

Premier Arnous was also briefed on the conditions of the affected families who were hosted in Jableh City Stadium shelter center, which houses about 1,000 people, and was equipped in cooperation between the City Council, the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor, and Jableh Sports Club,as well as the conditions of the injured in Jableh National Hospital

“There are great efforts being made by all the concerned authorities, and we directed the governorate of Lattakia to provide what guarantees the optimal functioning of work in the city of Jableh, and to take an immediate decision regarding the severely damaged buildings”، Arnous said in a statement.
