Occupied Jerusalem, SANA-Nine Palestinians were martyred on Thursday and sixteen were injured as the Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Jenin and its refugee camp in the West Bank.
“The Israeli aggression, which has continued since morning, on the city of Jenin and its camp, has claimed the lives of Palestinians, including an elderly woman,” Palestinian Ministry of Health said.
Health Minister, Mai al-Kaila, affirmed that the situation is very critical, and that the Red Crescent reported that there are many injuries, including critical cases, and it is difficult to rescue and evacuate them, as the occupation forces are preventing the entry of ambulances into the camp to rescue the wounded.
Al-Kaila added that the occupation forces stormed Jenin Hospital in the city of Jenin, and deliberately fired poison gas bombs at the children’s department in the hospital, causing suffocation cases among children.
The Palestinian minister called for an urgent meeting with the International Red Cross IRC and the World Health Organization (WHO) to stop this aggression and intervene to save the lives of Palestinians.
She also called on all human rights institutions and the international community to take immediate and urgent action to curb the aggressive and racist occupation practices in Jenin.
