said.
Meeting Syria’s Ambassador in Tehran Dr. Adnan Mahmoud on Monday, Larijani reiterated that the strategic Syrian-Iranian relations emerge from the deep-rooted friendship and fraternal ties between the two peoples.
Larijani expressed hope for expanding fields of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the economic field for providing the basic needs of the Syrian people.
For his part, Dr. Mahmoud briefed Larijani on the political, field and economic developments in Syria and the heroic achievements of the Syrian Arab Army against the Takfiri terrorist organizations.
The Ambassador also hailed the Iranian government and people’s support to the Syrian people.
