Shaaban , Abdullahian discuss joint coordination to serve strategic relations of Syria and Iran

Tehran, SANA- Special Adviser to the Presidency of the Republic,Dr. Buthaina Shaaban, discussed with Iranian Foreign Minister, Dr. Hossein Amir Abdollahian, joint coordination between Syria and Iran in a way that serves their strategic relations, in addition to the regional and international situation.

During the meeting in Tehran, Dr. Shaaban conveyed cordial greetings of President Bashar al-Assad to President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Ebrahim Raisi.

In turn, Abdollahian thanked Dr. Shaaban for accepting the Iranian invitation and her presence, representing First Lady Mrs. Asma al-Assad, at the first international conference of influential women.

He also expressed his country’s readiness to be always efficient in any issue that serves the interest of Syria and its sovereignty.

Abdullahian stressed that the Iranian and Syrian interests are the same, and that the two countries face common challenges, and therefore their unified efforts will serve the interest of both countries.
