Kyiv, SANA- At least 18 people, including three children, were killed and 26 others, including 12 children, were injured as a Ukrainian military helicopter fell and crashed near a kindergarten in Brovary, Kyiv region.
Sputnik quoted the Ukrainian police as saying in a statement that the Ukrainian Interior Minister and his first deputy are among those killed in the accident.
Earlier, Novosti Agency, reported that a huge fire broke out at the site, and the residents were being evacuated, while local sources affirmed the presence of children and workers in the kindergarten when the plane crashed.
For its part, the office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asserted that the plane crashed over a civilian infrastructure facility.
