Damascus, SANA- People’s Assembly participated in the International Conference on Information Technology held ,via video conference platforms ,at the Russian city of Sochi on Thursday and Friday.
The participants asserted that Syria took many steps regarding information security aimed at protecting ICT infrastructure and countering cyberattacks, noting that work is underway to enact Personal Data Protection Law ,with related circulars been issued.
They added that the Cybercrime Control and Internet Networking Regulation Act in addition to the Electronic Signature and Network Services Law have been passed.
