Journalist Muhammad al-Saghir, kidnapped by QSD militia, starts hunger strike

Hasaka, SANA- Correspondent of Syrian Al-Ikhbariyah News Channel, Mohammad al-Saghir who have been kidnapped by US occupation forces -backed QSD militia since 2019, started a hunger strike after his health deteriorated as a result of the bad kidnapping conditions.

SANA’s reporter said that al-Saghir began a hunger strike inside the place of his detention by the QSD militiamen, in protest against the bad conditions of detention and ill-treatment he receives.

QSD militia kidnapped al-Saghir after documenting the crimes of the US occupation forces in Hasaka province, the militia’s deliberate burning of agricultural crops during the 2019 season with the aim of starving the people there, in addition to its theft of Syrian wealth in its areas of occupation, and smuggling it with the support of the US occupation.
