Pushkov: negotiations between Moscow and Kiev are not on the West agenda

Moscow, SANA-Member of the Russian Federation Council, Senator Alexei Pushkov, has said that negotiations between Moscow and Kiev are not on the agenda of the West.

“Negotiations with Moscow are not included in the Ukrainian president’s strategy Vladimir Zelensky and his Western sponsors,” RT website quoted Pushkov as saying on his Telegram channel.

He added that ” negotiations can’t be fruitful unless the situation changes qualitatively.”

On Sunday, Aide to the President of the Russian Federation and head of the Russian delegation in negotiations with Ukraine, Vladimir Medinsky, expressed his country’s readiness to continue negotiations with the Kyiv regime after they had been completely frozen.
