One new COVID-19 case, 19 recoveries recorded in Syria

Damascus, SANA- Syria reported Tuesday one new coronavirus case and 19 recoveries, Health Ministry said in a statement.

The total number of infections recorded in the country has reached up to 55,872, of which 52,542 have recovered, while 3,150 have passed away, according to the statement.

On Monday, Syria recorded 1 new coronavirus case and 22 recoveries while no fatalities were recorded.
