President al-Assad and Mrs. Asma visit Monastery of Our Lady of Saidnaya

Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad and Mrs. Asma al-Assad visited on Sunday Monastery of Our Lady of Saidnaya in Damascus countryside.

President al-Assad and Mrs. Asma congratulated the residents, nuns and orphaned children on Easter.

They also visited the Museum of the Church of Hagia Sophia where they saw the historical manuscripts and icons that it contains.
