Moscow, SANA- The Russian embassy in Washington has affirmed that the new US sanctions against Russia had become absurd after Washington despaired of being unable to subjugate Moscow to its will.
“Because of their distance from reality and their lack of any basis, US sanctions have become increasingly absurd and testify to Washington’s desperation at not being able to subjugate our country to its will,” the Embassy said in a statement cited by Novosti Agency.
The embassy added, “These sanctions include a mixture of everything that the United States can do,” considering that the sanctions will result in harm to the United States itself rather than the expected shocks to Russia.
