Volodin: Allegations circulated by Kyiv about Bocha are lies

Moscow, SANA- Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Volodin, stressed on Tuesday that the lies promoted by the Ukrainian authorities about what happened in the Ukrainian city of Bucha are falsehoods aimed at discrediting Russia.

“Their only goal of those lies is to discredit Russia, weaken confidence in it, justify Western sanctions against it, as well as justify arms’ supplies and other hostilities against us and further aggravate the situation in Ukraine,” Volodin was quoted by the Russian TASS news agency as saying.

Volodin reiterated that “There are no facts, only lies. The Ukrainian media were forced to delete evidence of the photos they had previously published, because they could not prove the published information. But no one cares about this anymore, they made accusations and finished.”

Duma speaker added that a real investigation in this case is of no use to NATO countries, since “the perpetrators have already been found.”
