Iran stresses that only a political solution can end the crisis in Ukraine

Tehran, SANA- Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian reiterated his country’s position which calls for finding a political solution to the crisis in Ukraine.

Abdollahian’s remarks came during a phone call today with his Ukrainian counterpart, Dmytro Kuleba.

Abdollahian added that his country did not take a dual position regarding the crisis in Ukraine, and it is constantly calling for political solutions to all crises, including in Ukraine, Afghanistan and Yemen.

For his part, Kuleba stressed that his country is committed to the necessity of ending this crisis, citing his recent talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, which he described as necessary to end the crisis.
