Above-average temperatures, relatively cold weather at night

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 4 to 6 degrees above average in most regions as the northern and al-Jazeera regions will be affected by a superficial low air pressure, while the other regions will be affected by a shallow high air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper parts of atmosphere.

The skies will be partly cloudy in general with a little chance for showers over the coastal, northern and al-Jazeera regions, while at night, the weather will be relatively cold and fog is expected in the central region, according to the Meteorological Department

The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and active gusts, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

In some Syria cities, the expected temperatures will be as follows: Damascus 20/7, Daraa 18/7, Homs 16/10, Hasaka 19/4, Tartous 19/15, Aleppo 18/8, Deir Ezzor 21/8
