Above-average temperatures, fog expected in interior regions

Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will continue to rise to become from 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is affected by superficial high air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper parts of atmosphere, Meteorology Department said on Saturday.

The skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds, at night, the weather will cold, frost is expected over mountains and fog is expected in the central, al-Qalamoun and al-Ghouta regions, according to Meteorology Department.

The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with low to a moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude

In some major Syrian cities, the expected temperatures will be as follows: Damascus 16/6, Daraa 16/7, Homs 15/5, Hasaka 19/6, Tartous 17/11, Aleppo 16/6, Deir Ezzor 19/8
