Iraq condemns Turkish regime aggression on its territory

Baghdad, SANA- The Iraqi Security Media Cell condemned on Wednesday the violations of the Turkish regime’s forces of the country’s sovereignty and its bombing of areas in northern Iraq.

“We condemn what the Turkish drones did yesterday evening in violation of Iraqi airspace in Sinjar and Makhmour, and the implementation of air strikes in these two areas,” the Cell said in a statement.

The statement added “We reject any breach of Iraq’s sovereignty and territorial integrity by any party.”

The Cell’s statement called on the Turkish regime to abide by international agreements and stop these violations out of respect and commitment to the common interests between the two countries and not to be repeated.
