Damascus, SANA- The Traffic Department at the Ministry of Interior on Thursday issued a list on road conditions in the Syrian provinces due to the current weather as follows:
In Damascus Countryside, all main roads are open except the roads which lead to al-Zabadani area which are hardly open due to the ice.
In Homs, all roads are open except the roads which lead to the center of the city as they are hardly passable due to the fog while the roads of Taldo area and its villages are hardly open due to the thick fog.
In Hama, all roads are open except the road of Ein al-Kroum-al-Qarandah-Jourin-Slunfa and the road of Shathat Joubat Burghal which are barely passable due to the icy conditions.
In Lattakia, all roads are open for traffic except the road of Slunfa-al-Ghab which is barely open due to the ice.
The Traffic Department called upon drivers to drive carefully, use fog lights, check the brakes and reduce speed to avoid traffic accidents.
