Damascus, SANA- National political parties affirmed during a consultative meeting on Monday that a political solution is the only exit route from the crisis in Syria through national dialogue.
The consultative meeting, held at Dama Rose Hotel in Damascus, was called for by Ministry of State for National Reconciliation Affairs, with the participation of the Syrian National Dialogue Committee and national parties and bodies.
The participants stressed on the importance of national dialogue that aims to set a specific program with a timeframe which promotes the rules of freedom, dignity, democracy and security, and preserves Syria’s territorial integrity.
They also stressed commitment to defending the homeland’s sovereignty, noting that the Syrians are the only ones who are entitled to represent their interests.
Minister of State for National Reconciliation Affairs Dr. Ali Haidar said that solution to the crisis in Syria will emanate from a national dialogue conference in Syria because “ dialogue is the language of mind.”
For his part, Faisal Azouz, member of People’s Assembly pointed out the necessity of restoring security and stability to Syria through a dialogue that brings together all Syrians and enhancing national reconciliations to confront those who are targeting the country’s independence and sovereignty.
