Rain expected over several areas, temperatures above average

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be clear to partly cloudy in general, local rain showers are expected over the western mountains and cold at night in most areas.

The winds are changeable of low speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 23/11, Homs 22/09, Hasaka 23/07, Aleppo 21/08, and Deir Ezzor 23/09.
