Damascus, SANA- 284 new coronavirus cases, 115 recoveries and 13 fatalities were registered in Syria on Monday, the Health Ministry announced.
“The total number of infections detected in the country till now has reached up to 41,799 of which 25,831 have recovered while 2,517 have passed away”, according to a statement by the Ministry.
The first coronavirus case was recorded in the country on March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first death was reported on the 29th of the same month.
