Beirut, SANA- The Syrian ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Abdul- Karim, discussed with Lebanese Minister of Public Works & Transport, Ali Hamie, bilateral cooperation between Syria and Lebanon in the field of transport.
“Syria still deal positively with issues related to cooperation with brotherly Lebanon” Ambassador bdul- Karim stressed during the meeting with Lebanese Minister.
He hailed the positive role of the Lebanese Minister on issues related to bilateral cooperation between the two countries, hoping these discussions would be crowned in a meeting between the two governments and come up with solutions that come in the interest of Syria and Lebanon.
For his part, Minister Hamie pointed out to the historic relation between Lebanon and Syria that will remain and continue.
He added that Syria is a main crossing point for Lebanon, and there is a need to study some issues related to transportation and transit, that serve the common interest.
