Damascus, SANA- Syria has strongly condemned the campaigns of misleading, falsification of facts and incitement of the US administration and its tools against Cuba and other countries, and renewed its full solidarity and standing with friendly Cuba in the face of the renewed conspiracy hatched against it.
An official source at Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement to SANA on Wednesday” The Syrian Arab Republic strongly condemns the campaigns of misleading, falsification of facts and incitement run by the US administration and its tools against Cuba and other countries, within the framework of its aggressive policy and its desperate attempts to subject Cuba to American dictations.”
The source added that the American pressure has not stopped there, but rather reached the practice of organized state terrorism through the terrorist attack on the Cuban embassy in Paris and before it in Washington, in flagrant violation of all international conventions and norms related to the sanctity of diplomatic missions.
The source affirmed that the Syrian Arab Republic reiterates its full solidarity and standing by friendly Cuba in the face of the renewed conspiracy hatched against it, and it expresses confidence that the Cuban people and their victorious revolution, which have faced the unjust US blockade for sixty years, are able to abort and thwart this conspiracy, preserve Cuba’s sovereignty and national choices, and preserve the achievements and gains of the Cuban Revolution.
Cuba has announced that its embassy in Paris had been attacked with Molotov cocktails, as its foreign minister, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, held the United States responsible for the attack and said, “An act of terrorism was committed against our embassy in Paris using Molotov cocktails. We consider that the United States government bears responsibility for the ongoing campaigns against our country that incite such behavior and calls for violence with impunity.”
