Damascus, SANA- Various amounts of rainfalls were registered in several Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours, the heaviest of which were in Homs 50 mm, 49 mm in Tartous and 41 mm in Lattakia.
In other provinces rainfalls were as follows: 33 mm in Hama, 14 mm in Quneitra, 17 mm in Damascus Countryside, 3 mm in Daraa, 3 mm in Idleb, 5 mm in Aleppo and 10 mm in Hasaka.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the temperature will remain around average or slightly lower as the country is affected by a weak and superficial low pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The weather will be partially cloudy in general and local rain showers are expected over the northern and northwestern areas while the wind will be southwestern with a low to moderate speed and the height of waves will be medium.
Tomorrow, the weather will be between partially cloudy and rainy and the rains will be accompanied with thunder sometimes and snow will fall over the areas whose height exceeds 1,400 meters.
