Damascus, SANA- Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that 63 new coronavirus cases were detected in Syria, adding that 8 patients have recovered while 5 others passed away.
The Ministry said in a statement that the total number of coronavirus cases recorded in Syria has reached up to 24,315 till now, of which 21,577 have recovered and 1,750 have passed away.
The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22nd, 2020 in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was recorded on the 29th of the same month.
