French women call for lifting coercive measures imposed on Syria

Paris, SANA-Scores of French women demanded to lift the unilateral Western coercive economic measures imposed on Syria completely, expressing solidarity with the Syrian people in facing impacts of these measures.

In a statement on the International Women’ Day published by French newspaper Réveil Communiste, 137 French women affirmed that Western coercive measures have led to an increase in the suffering of the Syrian people, especially in the domains of electricity, heating and health care.

They pointed out to the acts of foreign occupation forces in Syria, including the burning of crops and looting the resources of the Syrian people.
