Hasaka, SANA- The body of Mohamad al-Rahil who was martyred after being shot yesterday by the US occupation-backed QSD militia on Monday was escorted from the emergency center in Hasaka City to his final resting place.
In a statement to SANA reporter, the martyr’s father Abdullatif al-Rahil said “All the Syrian people are his sons, and every honest citizen is a project of martyrdom for the sake of defending the pride and glory of the homeland.”
He expressed pride over the martyrdom of his son who joined the protests staged by the locals in Hasaka province through which they called for lifting the siege from which they have been suffering for the 19th day in a row.
On Sunday, QSD militia opened live bullets directly on the protestors in Hasaka City who took to the streets calling for lifting the siege imposed on the city as a civilian was martyred and four others were injured in a blatant violation of human rights and the international pacts and conventions.
