President al-Assad congratulates members of Armenian Orthodox denomination on occasion of Christmas

Damascus SANA- President Bashar al-Assad on Wednesday congratulated members of the Armenian Orthodox denomination in Damascus on the occasion of Christmas, the birth of Christ, the Messenger of love and peace.

Delegated by President al-Assad, Presidential Affairs Minister Mansour Azzam offered congratulations, on behalf of President al-Assad, to Bishop Armash Nalbandian, Primate of the Armenian Church of Damascus, and through him to all members of the Armenian community.

For his part, Bishop Nalbandian thanked President al-Assad for his generous congratulation, praying for God to save Syrian people and army, have mercy on all the Syrian martyrs and keep the Syrian territories safe and stable, wishing that the New Year will carry charity for all the Syrian people.
