Health Ministry: 89 new coronavirus cases recorded, 69 patients recover, 5 pass away

Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry on Monday announced that 89 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 69 coronavirus patients recovered while 5 others passed away.

In a statement, the Ministry noted that the total number of the registered coronavirus cases in Syria has reached up to 11,799 up till now, of which 5,615 have recovered and 734 have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22^nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first coronavirus death was registered on the 29^th of the same month.
