Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain around average or slightly above average as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and cold at night, warning against the formation of fog in the early morning in the central, al-Qalamoun and al-Ghota and the formation of ice in the northern area and the mountains.
The winds will be changeable of low speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 16/7, Homs 17/3, Hasaka 14/3 Lattakia 22/13, Aleppo 8/3 and Deir Ezzor 15/5.
