Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will remain around average or slightly higher as the country is affected by a superficial weak low air pressure from the south accompanied by southwestern currents at the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that an autumn moderate weather will prevail between cloudy to partly cloudy in general with a little opportunity of rain showers and sometimes accompanied by thunder in al-Qalamoun, central and eastern areas and relatively cold over the mountains.
The wind will be changeable to southwestern from low to moderate in speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 20/11 , Daraa 21/12 , Homs 22/8 , Lattakia 24/13 , Tartous 24/13 , Aleppo 22/8 .
