Damascus, SANA-A civilian was killed Monday and two others were wounded in terrorist attacks on Douma and al-Wafideen Camp in Damascus countryside.
A police source told SANA that a sniper terrorist opened fire at the entrance of the camp, killing a citizen and wounding another.
Meanwhile, another terrorist targeted a private car in the opposite of Rahma oil station on Damascus, Homs highway, wounding a 6-year child.
Earlier, three civilians were injured in a mortar shell fired by terrorists on the road at the northern entrance of Damascus.
A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA that the mortar round also caused material damage in a number of cars.
In Damascus Countryside, three civilians were injured in a terrorist attack using mortar shells on Monday in Harasta suburb.
The police source added that three mortar shells fired by terrorists landed near Hamza Bin Abed al-Motaleeb mosque in B2 block in Harasta suburb, leaving three civilians injured by shrapnel, and causing material damage to private properties.
The source pointed out that the two other mortars landed near the local phone center, causing material damage to cars in the area.
In another context, a military engineering unit dismantled an explosive device that had been planted by terrorists on the road to al-Kisswa town in the southwestern countryside of Damascus.
A source at the Police Command told SANA reporter that the explosive device weighed around 6 kg, noting that it was planted on the side of the main near at al-Kisswa junction and set to be remotely detonated.
