Moscow, SANA- The Russian President’s Special Envoy to the Middle East and African Countries, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, discussed on Tuesday with the Syrian Ambassador in Moscow Dr. Riyad Haddad means for strengthening Russian-Syrian cooperation.
Sputnik news agency quoted the Russian Foreign Ministry as saying in a statement on Tuesday that during the meeting, views were exchanged on the recent events in the Middle East, with focus on the current situation in and around Syria.
The statement added that special attention has been paid to further strengthening the multifaceted Russian-Syrian cooperation, including maintaining an active political dialogue.
