Beirut, SANA-Lebanese Prime Minister, Hassan Diab, announced on Monday the resignation of his government in the wake of Beirut port explosion that hit the city last Tuesday.
The Lebanese presidency declared that president, Michal Aoun, accepted the government resignation, instructing it to continue acting as “caretaker government” until the formation of the new one.
Earlier, Diab said in a televised speech that” the government has exerted all efforts during the last period to set a road map.”
