Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will drop slightly, yet they still above average by 1 to 3 degrees, as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure from the southeastern accompanied by a subtropical high pressure in upper layers of atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the skies will be hot and clear in general and partly cloudy over the coastal, north western areas, with an opportunity of rainfall over coastal mountains, while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Badia (semi-desert), and al-Jazira regions.
The wind will be western to northwestern with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 37/19, Daraa 34/19, Homs 35/21, Lattakia 31/22, Aleppo 38/23 and Deir Ezzor 43/25.
