Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will rise to become from 5 to 8 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by a superficial high subtropical in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the weather will be hot and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, and thundershowers will fall over the southwestern regions and al-Qalamoun mountains, while the weather will be misty and very hot in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badia “semi-desert” regions.
The wind will be of changeable direction and low speed and the sea waves will be high in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 44/23, Daraa 43/24, Homs 40/24, Lattakia 34/24, Aleppo 44/25 and Deir Ezzor 47/27.
