Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry on Thursday announced that 11 new coronavirus cases were registered for people who have been in close contact with other infected people, bringing the total of the registered cases in Syria to 242.
In a statement, the Ministry added that two other coronavirus cases have recovered, pushing the total of recoveries to 96.
The number of the registered coronavirus cases in Syria has reached 242 till today, of which 96 have recovered and 7 passed away.
The first case of coronavirus was registered in Syria on March 22nd for a person who came from abroad while the first death was registered on the 29th of the same month.
