Update-Health Ministry:  six new coronavirus cases registered in Jdeidet al-Fadil town,three of them from the health cadres

Damascus, SANA- Health Ministry announced on Sunday that 6 new coronavirus cases have been registered for persons who were in close contacts with people of Jdeidet al-Fadle, among them three from the health cadres.

The Ministry added that the number of the registered cases in Syria has reached 204 till today, of which 83 have recovered and 9 have passed away.

The first case of coronavirus was registered in Syria on March 22nd for a person who came from abroad while the first death was registered on the 29th of the same month.

Health Ministry announced last night that a lockdown was imposed on Jdeidet al-Fadil town which is affiliated to Quneitra Province after registering a number of coronavirus cases in it, in order to prevent the outbreak of the virus and to preserve the public health and the citizen’s safety.
