Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to rise to become from 4 to 6 degrees above average in most areas while they will drop in the coastal areas, yet still slightly above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy and the weather will be relatively hot while it will be misty in the eastern and al-Badia “semi-desert” regions.
The wind will be changeable to northeasterly with a low to moderate speed and it will become active in the afternoon while the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 39/26, Daraa 39/24, Homs 39/17, Lattakia 31/17, Aleppo 39/19 and Deir Ezzor 41/21.
