SANA enters lockdown section at Damascus Hospital

Damascus, SANA-According to the criteria set by the world Health Organization (WHO), Syrian Health Ministry and the protocols and measures put by the advisory team to deal with persons suspected of having coronavirus, the medical stuff at the lockdown section in Damascus Hospital (al-Mujtahid) work daily according to its Director, Samer Khudre.

SANA reporter entered the lockdown section where Dr. Khudre said that this part is dedicated to receive the coronavirus suspected cases.

“This part includes an emergency section where the doctors evaluate the patients’ case and put them in lockdown rooms… and a medical distinguished cadres were allocated to deal with these cases,” Dr. Khudre added.

The lockdown section at Damascus Hospital receives between 4 to 8 cases per day.
