Interior ministry suspends work to renew, grant passports and other documents until further notice

Damascus, SANA_ Interior Ministry issued a decision to stop the work of renewing and granting passports, travel documents, all kinds of residences, driving licenses and criminal record documents starting from Monday, March 23, 2020 until further notice.

The Ministry stated that its decision comes within the framework of the preventive and precautionary steps taken by the government to preserve the public health and provide the highest standards of public safety to protect health of citizens and residents in line with efforts and measures taken at the national level to confront Coronavirus.
